This is my so called "coastal", but I reckon one of the parents played up with a southern friend because there is definately something about this coastal that doesn't seem right. What annoys me is not the fact that the bloke who sold it to me wasn't exactly honest but that he has probably produced hybrids from an extraordinary diamond. Anyway this bloke won't be breeding with anyone because I hate the idea of hybrids just as much as the next herp enthusiast. There are two notes that should be taking from this.... always buy from reputable dealers and if you see a bloke in the mountains by the name of Chris selling gosford hatchies then hand money over fist for them.

I reckon 'Nervous' might have bought his two yr olds from the same bloke

I agree, they may not be as spectacular as a black headed python or Palmerston locale jungle python but they can still have great patterning and still rate as a good python to keep....And above all they grow MASSIVE.

i new this thread would go this way. Just curious though to anyone who thinks they may know, where is the exact line that seperates coastals from intergrades?

Nervous where were those last 2 snakes originally collected from?

nervous why are you so upset for? No (know) it all? Narrow minded? Me? Surely not!

No need to get upset just because I stated an opinion. If you made your mind up about me from 2 posts...sheesh. Ive got some self improvement to do.

nervous, many people buy coastals off unscrupulous sellers who are really selling them intergrades. Ask Chris.J. You may possibly be one of those unlucky buyers. Its just bad luck a lot of the time and I wouldnt be surprised if theres occasionally throw backs (if possible) from supposedly 'normal' looking coastal from these breeders.

cris I would imagine Lismore would be a nice borders range between the two species for intergrades yes?
