Active Climbers

My macs got a separate click clack each, 250mm hi, and I made sure to put a branch in a soon as i got them.

They come out at about 5 most nights and move around or lay along their branch most of the evening. They even sometimes curl up al-la GTP and stay out till morning.

Soon as I take the lids off they come out to look around and even get on my hand if I put it near them, if I put my hand near the outside of their click clacks they come over and try to smell through the plastic......

WOW! Thanks for all the great responses! I expected maybe one or two.

My mac used to be out at night cruising around. Even if we were watching TV in the room. But lately he hides day and night. Maybe I'll put him in a big cage for awhile and see what he does. I'd love to have him curl up on a branch in plain sight.

I used an under-tank heat mat. Maybe if I used overhead heat they'd out more.

Cray - I tried to let my little one crawl onto my hand one time and she ended up attached to my finger. Last time I fall for that one.

My lil maccie loves her mummy and she's always out of her hide (unless it's cooler) and yes she perches up in her tree in full sight and sleeps! Her tank is in our lounge room and you have to walk past her to get to the kitchen! Most times if she's up on her favourite branch she'll just look up at you when you walk past then put her head back down! Although lately when I walk past it's like she's reaching out to be picked up! She is a very social lil snake and just loves being held and looked at!!
Your little one might be coming up to a shed and thats why he's gone a bit sulky!! Our diamond gets very sulky when he's shedding!

My mac stays hidden in her hides all day long. May poke her head out for a look every now and then. When the lights go out, so does she..........

My children`s python has escaped from the enclosure once.
Guess where she hiden then?
She was hiding under my pillow on a bed.
In her cage, she likes hiding under news paper.
So I stick papers on the bottom with tapes.
I put some rocks in the cage, there is no shelter.
But I know they are quite shy guys hate light.

That's right Kali!! I can't wait to leave work of an arvo just to go home and get my little girl out and play with her! She loves the attention too!! Trust me if you have them out as much as you can they will love you for it and you'll find they'll get so confident and very social!!

Here's a pic of where my Sassi sleeps nearly every night (until early morning when it's a bit cooler)!!!
