Don't let him fool you

I was going through some photos and found this one I like. Old Bob has nailed me twice from this position. I thought he'd be coiled up dozing them WHAM got me.

I only have a hatchling maccie. so I can hardly feel it when he bites. He always bites once when I pick him up.

But i am a bit worried, how does it feel when he bites when he is all grown up.

My kids and I handle him every day so he gets used to it, but i know that he is a wild animal and there will always be times that we get a nip.

Can anyone tell me how it feels?

Here are a few examples base. It hurts so little, I don't bother trying to pry him off and damage his teeth. Instead, I just reach for the camera and wait him out until he decides I don't really taste so good.

Nice pics I'm thinking someone else reached for the camera though by the look of how tied up both of your hands look?

Note: This guys 'bites' are actually feeding response, not aggression. He has an endless appetite and anything warm is considered fair game.

I have a photo around here of him with a fuzzy rat being 'killed' and eaten while he holds a second in his rear coils for later, will look for it and post it up.

Edit note: Here you go.

Yeah, they were five different feeding times, in some cases I couldn't take the pics.
