yeah well its there decision to keep venomous snakes, they obviously have to think about getting bitten as it is a risk... if u dont like it dont keep them simple...

and getting tagged by an elapid or a python essentialy means the same thing (unless its a food response or something) its just that elapids will do a bit more damage

first time owner believe me people that keep elapids do know the risks that come with them so alot of thought goes into it before rushing out and getting a venomous snake only people with experience should consider keeping venomous snakes so your questions even though seem logic to you dont really make alot of sense to experienced keepers ok mate and who knows when you get older and wiser you may just change your mind about the vens....

and you can handle them but in a different way you may not be as free like you seem to be with your python but you can handle them and they are a wonderful exciting species to have too..and hey mate dont under estimate the damage a good size python can do to you ask some people on here that have been bitten you seem to think a python bite is nothing lol ......

well the inlaws has tigers and they are more friendly than my pythons, and yes there is a risk that u might get bitten, but there is also a risk you are gonna get hit by a car crossin the road

yes but with a python u can let it out, to explore, do that with a ven what happens? What difference does it make if i am a first time owner, my opinion is the same. its not about the risk, theyre venomous that mite b a sign not to feep them in a cage
