Why Does Everyone Feel The Need To Steralize A Stick? Just Cut Up A Dead Branch And Throw It In.

you steralize to kill eny bactirea that might be on the branch/stick so that the animal doesn't catch anything from it.

What parasites and bacteria would you commonly find on a branch ???
snakes do live in the wild which last i checked contained branches and you dont see dead snakes ever where from coming into contact with branches ....
fair enough if you want to clean it and sterilize it go for it no harm in doing so , but i reckon a good hose and you should be right to go .

there would be different bacteria/parrasites where you are located(not you as in only yourself, you as in every1 you) to the bacteria/parrasites from where the animal is from, so it won't have an imune system desgned for killing it. And if the animal is captive bred then it would n't have an imune system as good as wild cought animals, because it may never had come in contact with those parrasites/bacteria.
