Escape artist!

So this morning when I was getting ready for work I went to check on my snakes (naturally ) and was shocked to discover that my 4 year old coastal had somehow escaped!! There are no gaps in the enclosure large enough for him to fit through, so he must have somehow pushed the doors open slightly, as I conveniently left it unlocked . After calling in sick to work , sprinkling some talcum powder along all the bedroom doorways, and doing a quick search around the house, I returned to the snake room to begin tearing everything apart. After about 10 minutes I looked up into the bookcase and whaddayaknow. What a relief that my lazy boy in his quest for food only managed to travel a total distance of around 7 feet Took some (VERY) happy snaps.
