feeding before a shed

I believe my jungle is about to shed (first one since I got her). She has milky eyes and dull colour, and I'm assuming I shouldn't offer her a feed (due tomorrow). Right or wrong?

i have herd not to feed a snake while in shedding. Reason being when a snake eats it leaves a big bulge in its stomach so when the snake sheds the skin will go to the bulge and posibly stop and constict the snake.

I have fed my snakes before they shed, as often I haven't noticed the eyes or predicted the shed. Once I fed a young MD I have before a shed, and she seemed to struggle to get the slough over the big bulge of the digesting food item (I eventually had to help her), so for the purely mechanical problems it seems to be potentially present to the snake, I tend to just leave them well alone until after they shed now.

There may be other metabolic and other reasons people may have for avoiding (or not) feeding pre shed, this is my experience.

Snakes normally refuse a feed prior to a shed, i actually know to check her eyes if she is due for a feed and "attacks" rather than eats the mouse.... leave it for a couple days and offer once she had compleated a shed.

Its one of two Murray Darling yearlings I have. Delphi is very nice, calm and pretty, the way I like my snakes and my friends! PS she is the one who ate before a shed and the skin got stuck on the bump!
