ok well my bredli has been getting darker and darker in colouration and last night i went to check on him(using a torch as i didn't want to handle him) and i noticed his eyes were a bit cloudy.
anyways i know that if you feed the snake before the shed the lump can stop the snake from shedding properly. so should i feed him or leave him for a week or maybe get him a pinky rat which won't cause much of a lump at all.
cheers

It's really your choice. I sometimes feed my snakes when they're eyes are starting to go cloudy. I've even fed snakes when they're right in the middle of the opaque stage of shedding. I've never had a problem with them shedding with a food bulge in their belly. They've all managed to shed fine.
However we both know that it's better to just wait for it to shed before offering a meal. There's no hurry.

We both know your snake can go without a meal. After all, it's not starving, right?
Or do you just love feeding him?

yer he will be fine till he sheds, but if you feed him on shed i tend to give them only small items that wont cause a large lump in the belly

Our snake has taken food a few days short of a shed both times she's shed here. No problems shedding at all- one shed was in pieces, but that was because she didn't have anything to shed on- her drink bowl wasn't close enough to the wall-her favourite way to shed. The other one came off in one shot.

If he's only just started to cloud you will still have enough time.

I fed a female Bredli a few days ago and she shed 15 minutes later, no problems at all.

my bredli always feed before the shed, the feed usually triggers a shed the next day or two

My bredli hatchie looked like she was about to shed, but never went cloudy, I finally fed her after 2 weeks of not being able to get her some mice, and she looks like she's set to shed within the day.

I have also had snakes eat and then shed within a day or so. I guess it comes down to looking at why they shed. One reason is that they are growing out of their skin. If they are uncomfortable in their skin then they probably wont eat. Otherwise, why wouldn't they. Food is good.

I usually feed mine at the regular feeding times irregardless of whether they are about to shed or not. They always take the food as voraciously as ever and have never had any problems with the shedding. Some humidity in the enclosure is always beneficially to shedding and mine usually always shed in one complete piece.
