As hatchlings Water Pythons (liasis fucus) prefer to feed on joey Kangawallafox's or Eastern short neck giraffe foals, if they dont devour those try a pinkie

I've heard that they quite readily eat green tree pythons. If you choose to go this way I suggest you purchase about 15 just to keep a good stock. Thats what I do anyway. Cyber Crimes said you can feed it pinkies but I guess its all a question of how much do you love your snake? Its up to you which way you go.

M&M,
That is a good price...
Start them off on pinkie or fuzzy mice depending on the size of the snake.Let me know how you go if you purchase any as I'd be interested to know if they are as aggressive as everybody says.

i got him today cyber and he is the most lovely snake, he hasn't tried to strike me once and is really calm when i handle him. Ben (snakes NT) didn't have any hatchlings so they said they would give me a yearling for $100 instead of $150.

i just read through the replys and i am getting the vibe that everybody thinks that was a stupid question.

Never feel that...just the peoples that were giving the less than helpful answers were bored.

The best thing is rats or mice. Occasionally you need to start them on soemthing else such as birds but try mice or rats first. What size depends on the size of the snake but pinkies are usually the starting point.

Always remember that the only stupid question is the one you don't ask!
There will always be some smartass, (like me), or someone who has drank too much red, (me again), who will give a silly answer but never hold off asking a question because you think its silly.
