At the autopsy the vet said its liver was shot from eating too much fatty food, causing system failure. Since then I've been very careful not to risk over-feeding any of my animals.

i know theres a danger of them getting fatty livers if i put them on too big a diet and theyre forced to mobilise alot of their stored fat @ once, which is why i'm still feeding them a few leaves of their greens a day and trying to get them to exercise so they only use a handleable amount of body fat. its gonna take ages, but i'm not gonna risk doing it too quickly.
sorry to hear you lost your beardy, i'd die if i lost mine.
