How do you change a snake eating mice over to eating similiar size rats?

I was having an issue getting my bhp off chicks and back onto rats, i tried this method and it worked.

Subscriber | Join Date: Jul-07 Location: SEQLD Age/Gender: 21 | | | | i have had a few very fussy snakes that would only eat mice, the way i got them onto rats was of 2 ways. scenting with mouse, via defrosting with mice or braining the mouse or simply rubbing a mouse on the rats head. the other way is as my snakes were eating multiple mice instead of feeding another mouse i offer a small rat as the second meal and while they are in their feeding frenzy they slam it and then i have had no problem the next week with just feeding rats
