i feed mine once a week and fortnight depending on the snake,my big girl, 9.5ft coastal gets either a big rat or small rabbit once a fortnight.the others get fed once a week. i know some people that only feed theirs once a month, but they get 2 or 3 jumbo rats. all depends on preference, and wether or not they are a bit under weight or if your bulking them up for the breeding season.

I personally give the big rats a miss and prefer to fed adult mice. Those big rats are full of fat I have found and are nothing like the lean meat a snake would get in the wild.

It might be just me, bit I feel it is better to feed smaller meals than really big ones

Depending on the age of the animal and the size of it will depend on the food size. I always use rats, and my smaller stuff get fed every 5 days, adults every 7-10 depending on food size.

my female diamond is roughly 1.5m and she gets 1 medium rat (roughly 6-8cmlong and 3cm thick) every 2 weeks.. would this be enough to fatten her up for breeding (or at least have her ready for breeding) next year?

If you wanted her a bit fatter and to try and get her to breed, maybe try every 10 days instead or 14.

I feed my little Spotted Python 2wice a week. I give him the biggest rats he can get down, then just wait till he poo's again, then i feed him again. I have only just started doing this though because i think he has a small head and hes not growing enough. I want him to be a mean massive fighting machine. I think the rats i give him are called Fuzzy. He's head is only like the size of a pen so its pretty amazing watching him swallow it down.

Mate you are nuts, you are going to damage the little spotty if you continue to feed this way!
If its head is only the size of a pen you should only be on small pinky rats fed at 1 every
6-7 days which will be enough for it to grow properly
