diamond was my first snake and i havnt looked back he is really placid and never looks like biting and i have had no problems with him but keep in mind with diamonds that u dont feed them to much your better off growing them up slowly as this can develop problems in their health

I don't have UV on my Diamonds. I do however give them sun 3 - 4 hours per week outside as juvi's. Adults I find to do best outside fulltime. If I know we are going to have extremely hot days I will bring them inside about Lunch time. My oldest is a Female & is 14 this year and approx 9ft

i also dont use uv light but i give him a bit of sun every couple of days

Thanks for the replies, he is 3 now, he gets some sum once a week for an hour or so thats all.

Def one of my fav's and one of the best diamonds I have seen. Cheers.

Helps them absorb Vitamin D (just like we get from the sun as well).

Diamond Python Syndrom is weak bone structure they can suffer as an adult, where there bones can no loner support their weight. They end up dying.

So having the UV light helps prevent that, ensuring they have strong bones as an adult
