Very nice snakes! I have been thinking about getting one for a while. I have to ask - is that gravel loose or siliconed to the bottom, as i've heard that they can die from swallowing the small gravel and not being able to digest it properly?

Yes they do shed and they too can have problems shedding, just like a terrestrial python can.

My gravel is siliconed to the bottom, not so much to stop them ingesting it, but because I have found the tank remains cleaner and smells less without a loose layer of gravel to trap the muck in.

That was suppossed to be the plan, but look at us now!!!!!! 3rd hatchling on the wat in only 3 years,..... not to bad hey!!!??
