Yep, go the bucket or holding bin for feeding! :-)
I like this method best too. It's super cute when you leave the enclosure door open, pop the bucket in front of it, and watch them make their own way to the bucket and go into 'hunting' stance. They seem to know the score.

Once in the bucket, they seem to know it's food time, but outside of it, they seem to know it's play time :-) Works ok for me so far, and keeps nasty dinner time spills out of the nice clean enclosure and prevents them from eating any substrate as an added bonus. :-)

I have this image of you trying to put Clarice (the olive?) into a bucket when she is 14' long and weighs 12kg. Sorry, not knocking your method at all, it's just an image I get every time you mention the bucket.

Hehehe, with the Mac, the bucket actualy is a regular bucket-type-bucket. Clarice's "bucket" is an 80 litre plastic holding container at the moment.
There is a 120 litre one waiting in the garage for when she gets a little bigger... after that we'll go with the flow, but maybe use a garden bin or something...but I'll probably still call it the bucket :-) LOL
