lol getting bitten by snakes doesnt hurt trust me [well at least not little ones=)] it actually tickles like pins and needles.

i know this is wierd but my MD has bitten me atleast 7 times hes only small and it doesnt hurt at all it doesnt even leave that big a mark
i actually am extied that he will maybe bite me when hes 8 ft long
i told my mum that if he bites me dont help me just get the camera
unless he throws a coil around me then help me

Oh boy, I am not showing that pic to my wife! I haven't purchased my first snake yet, tending to favour a Bredli, but my wife is terrified of them. I have told her the Pythons rarely bite and she has sort of believed me. I don't want her to see any evidence!

lol my wife was the same  but normally my snakes wont bite but this time she missed the pinky thats all |

I got bit by a 4ft coastal and it only just started to hurt a little at that size. It certainly was not crying material.

I agree with Tan. The sooner you get bitten, the sooner you will realise there is little pain. I've been bitten by a score of juveniles carpets and a 2 metre adult. Quite a bit of blood when the big one bit me, but little pain. I'd rather be bitten by a snake than a dog anytime.

It's the fear of the unknown that is scary, once you've had your first bite you quickly find it's no big deal. I find they are no prob at the time but the next day they are itchy as ****.
