Australian Air Exrpress is one of the few freight companies that will fright reptiles. Give them a ring to find out what you need to do for freighting.

Please make sure that you understand the IATA transport requirements before you try to send any thing. Ask AAE to send you a copy of the relevant section covering the transportation of reptiles. This is becoming more important each day as AAE are getting sick and tired of inadequately packaged reptiles. We as a combined group of keepers in this country must make sure that we protect the service that we use as it seems that AAE is the only air transport left that still allow the live transportation of reptiles.

Squideny to Coffs, it's probably cheaper to drive.
No, you don't need an export permit or Movement Advice in NSW (unless they've changed the system).

Hey codeth,
I live in Dorrigo and got my BHP freighted by Australian Air Express. I wanted it to got to either Coffs, Armidale or Grafton (coz I live in the middle) and the guy told me that Qantas link (who fly to Coffs & Armidale) won't accept reptiles (maybe they took Snakes on a Plane to literally ).
Anyway you can get reptiles freighted to Grafton on a regional carrier if you're willing to drive there.
