Frogs as snake food?

I know quite a few people on this site likes frogs and so do I, but I was wondering, could you use frogs as snake food?
Does anyone know of any diseases or other nasty stuff snakes could get from eating wild frogs?

Worms and other protozoa are commonly passed on from Frogs to snakes through ingestion.

Yes I know of diseases that can be transmitted by wild frogs.. Two of my stimson's came from a person (two owners ago) that had fed live wild frogs to them... They both ended up with tape worm, skin worm and various other internal problems.

Thanks, my Dad keeps suggesting I give Louise a frog for a treat.
We get lots of frogs around at night and they are very noisy.

Honestly, I'm surprised nobody has flamed me for suggesting such a thing.

If you think they are noisy now.....If a snake grabs a frog it will scream like a baby. I have not fed ny snakes any frogs but the wild snakes around my place have grabbed a few from our pool and I thought someone had grabbed my neice.............Frogs are nice and deserve to be alive.....;-p

Yeah frogs are nasty dirty critters! Your snakes will get sick.

Not to mention it is illegal to kill frogs and illegal to feed live vertebrates
