Barney, coastal eggs are a little bit smaller than chicken eggs. The size of the container really depends on wether you are taking apart the clutch so that each egg is an individual or if you are leaving the eggs stuck together. The height of the container wont be as important if you lay each egg individually in the vermiculite, but if you place the entire egg pile in a container you will need a container with enough height to allow for a thick layer of vermiculite, then the egg pile and then for the lid to still fit on without touching the eggs on the top of the pile. If you plan to seperate eggs, it needs to be done within an hour or so of being laid. After that they stick very well and you may tear the eggs when seperating.

If they get stuck together in a big clump, how do u half burry the top ones in vermiculite without burrying the others ?

I never bury any eggs. I just lay them on top of the vermiculite. I think people have got in the habit of half burying eggs because it helps keep them stable in the container. If the eggs are in an adhered pile none of the eggs need to be buried.
