| It's actually not conflicting, it's both. Some can start changing at two months, some don't start changing till they are a year old. Some can change in a day, some never stop changing. And every where in between. There is so much variation, you can NEVER have a definite answer. The only thing for sure is, they will change.
The Biak locale is notorious for taking a long time to change, and some may never stop changing. The mainland types have been known to change overnight, though not completely. And of course, there are exceptions to them all.
