Question GTP prices this year???

Hi guys,
with all the discussion on prices of reptiles this year, speculation or not, I'd like to hear from definate breeders on possible prices of GTPs. Are they going to be slightly cheaper? Will they stay the same? I am curious and pugsleys graphs started to make me think. I know GTPs are a dream snake for a lot of people but it seems the reality may be coming closer?? Any input??? What are we up for?

My opinion, they wont drop until some guy either undercuts everyone, or they stop selling.
they wont drop for no reason

You will definately be able to get them for $5k. And no doubt a little cheaper if you know someone lol.

See thing is last two seasons people have been breeding them, if I were them I would be looking at giving the females a year off, but who am I to tell em!

Depends on the numbers hatched and the demand.By demand I don't mean how many people want them,I mean if they are $5000 each only so many people will be willing and able to pay that, after they are exhausted they will have to sell cheaper till all the people who are willing to pay $4000 have run out.All the while more and more people are breeding them and trying to sell theirs for as much as they can.So I don't think there will be a set price, its supply and demand.

One more factor to consider is the fact that some people dont breed females every year. They may only breed every second year to help the females recover. So numbers may not drop as quick as some easier to breed species.

Yeah $5000 feeding will be about right, I would imagine it wont be hard to get them for $4000 feeding given the numbers being bred and good survival rate of hatchlings there shouldn't be a shortage.

I am sure you'll get what you pay for. They should be cheaper if you pay a deposit up front now on a maybe ; a bit dearer for non feeders and dearer still feeding and then ; finally genuine Australian seem to command a premium.
