Hmmm the whole debate is very interesting. I think it comes down to who you know as to what you know in this hobby, as I have been witness to a person "accumulating" quite a lovely looking pair of womas for $500 a snake!
In all seriousness, what is the difficulty in breeding a GTP over a BHP??? I can't deny the fact they they are an extraordinary looking snake, and one species of which most people desire!

I'd get a GTP if it were legal in WA. Eventually the price of GTP will come down as more are breed and become available for sale, but if you spent $15000 on a pair of GTP it would take you a while to recoup your investment at $500 a juvy - I can't see it happening for a decade.

As I have said before breeding GTP's is no great secret, I know quite a few people personally in the UK that do it as routinely as any other snake, the juveniles take a little more work than say a Woma but not much. This is the reason they are priced the way they are around the world, except here. They only have the higher price tag in other countires because they are such a beautiful snake.
