This clutch of carpets hatched on the 22/12/07 most of them have shed but two.Thinking they wouldnt eat and worried that they should have shed by now offered them a frozen pinki and whack he ate it.As everone can see by the picture he is still glossy from not shedding. Is it normal for carpets or any other species to eat before they shed?Or are carpets just weird lol.

Not really uncommon for a baby snake to take its time with its first shed. Also not uncommon for baby snakes to start feeding prior to their first shed.
