heat lights

is a red or blue spotlight an alright heatlight or do you need a proper one if the spotlights are good what watage is the best. thanks

Blue and red globes can be used as the heat source. Wattage will depend on your cage size, ambient temps, species kept ect. Try and use the lowest wattage that gets you the temps required.
