It looks to me like you are getting confused with what the percentages mean. They are your chance that the animal is indeed carring the trait. All het animals are 100% het. Meaning if an animal is het it has the gene period. The different breeding that produce different percentages are all producing hets that are 100% but in different quanities per clutch.

The percentage that is given is representing the odds that a given animal is carring the genes you are after not how much of it is het. When you breed an animal that is said to be het to an albino or het albino and it doesn't produce albinos at all after multiple breedings it is not a het. You do need repeat breedings when you try het to het because you will sometimes get no albinos or all albinos and everything inbetween. Does that make it easier for you??

thats a great question as i was going to ask the same thing.
as i will be looking for a 100%het female carpet once i sell the rest of my bhp hatchys.

thats right but finding some one you can trust these days is not that easy some times
as some pepole will tell you any thing to get your money.and it would not be hard to say you have 100% het hatchys when they are realy 100% normal hatchys.

Hi Asp,

Are you sure your male is albino, he looks caramel in that pic, although maybe the photo isn't doing him justice.
