just thought that I would ask , as I am running low on space at the moment ,and I have been trying to think of ways to solve the problem.
Would it be possible for example to put several click clacks together in say a large 4x2x2 enclosure , which is thermo controlled. And heat them all under the same conditions? All advice would be much appreciated.

Just make yourself one of these. I am also in the process of building a larger one that will hold much larger tubs. I'll post pics when it's finished.

Mr bredli that looks awesome....See my short term problem is that I am waiting on some thermos to come in therefore a few of the enclosures that The snakes will be going into are not ready as yet , and wont be for a few weeks , therefore I was trying to think of a way to use 3 fully wired 4x4x2 enclosures for 9 snakes...Thats why I was wondering if my idea will work?any thoughts?

Your problem will be with keeping each tub in the enclosure the same temp, in fact it would be almost impossible. What size are the tubs you are using?

I havent brought any tubs as yet , however I was thinking the long ones that are quite short , and to stack them on top of each other so they all get a warm and cool side.

Your best bet would be to heat the tubs via heat cords.

Yes, but you could run several cords off the one thermostat. If you can't get a thermostat then try the 4m heat cords. You can use them without a thermostat, providing the room doesn't get too hot. But you must at least use a thermometer so you can monitor the temps.

Yep, you obviously wouldn't stack them on top of each other if heating was being provided by a heat cord underneath the tub. You could stack them on top of each other if you put them into the enclosure, it wouldn't be a terrible thing if it was only for a few days, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

My house gets extremely hot at the moment , approx 30 in my house constantly , and my enclosures heat sourse rarely even turn on throughout the day.Are the pythons still getting benefit from the heat if that is the case?

If your house is getting to 30 degrees everyday, and presuming the temps in your cages/tubs reach the same, your snakes are not going to die anytime soon due to lack of heat. You could probably get away with housing them in tubs with no heat at all, although i wouldn't recommend it. Perhaps you can heat the tubs during the night only, with the heat cord. How long do you intend to keep them in these tubs?
