Sounds like an average sized coastal to me. They seem, on average, to be between 7 and 9ft long.
I have seen them close to 14ft though. Roy Pails had a HUGE coastal a couple of yrs back. His head would have been around 3" wide give or take. Roy reckoned he was about the 14ft mark. I wasn't going to argue, it did look massive in the enclosure. Certainly the biggest coastal I have ever seen. It's average meal size weighed about 5kg.
