How do you tell a mac form a blonde mac?

Hey all,

I have seen some normal macs that look more blonde than some so called blonde macs, so when is a mac called a blonde mac.

Cheers

lol. the last one is the best example out of those, the background is light and the blotches have a jasper red colouration (some more then others) and they tend to have a 'zig-zag' pattern. this is just my opinion, i think to many spotteds are being called blonds these days! just because they are light background doesnt mean they are light. imo there is a very fine line between blond and standard. imo they tend to be alittle larger, but this may just be the size of my own snakes.

I think that there are far to many people crossing this with that and these days you just cant tell with alot of animals on the market just what they are exactly.
There are only a handfull of people out there that are concerned with breeding true locality animals and the rest are after the quick buck or just are not aware of what they are buying or are simply told from the breeder this is what it is and so they except what the breeder says as the truth.
I think the animal in the pic looks to be childreni patterning although all childrens in the Antaresia group except the macs have a lateral stripe that goes down the first 3rd of the snakes body and as far i can see there does not appear to be any lateral striping on this animal.
so ???

Hey all,

Thanks for the helpful replys. LOL @ when it costs twice as much. I reckon hey. That is where my point is leading some normal macs are that blonde and hey are $150 or so and then some blonde macs that look like normal macs they charge $250.
