In captivity they commonly grow to between 8 and 10 feet. It's possible for them to get bigger, but it all depends on what you feed them and what they live in. They've been known to live as long as 40 years in captivity, so you've picked a fantastic pet, one that you'll get to keep for years if you're lucky

I love your avatar

Lol don't worry mate, so am I

If you handle it regularly then it should get used to you and there's not much chance it'll bite alot. My baby girl hasn't bitten anyone at all...but she's a sweetie

I have handled my bredli a fair amount, and she hasn't bitten yet, hasn't even gone into a very convincing defence pose!

Just make sure you give it time to settle in, and it will eventaully get used to you, and be an awesome snake

IMO, carpets are one of the most unpredicable pythons around, Ive raised carpets for years that were extemely docile but eventually they will turn around for no reason and try to take your face off, and a big one probally would.

I can't say too much, I have only ever owned one, but never had a fuss with him. He was a bit cage protective, but once out he was a dream

My experience is that the bigger and older they get the better they are as handlers.

Our female is approaching the 3 meter mark and the most well behaved girl you could imagine.
