My Stimmy is having issues shedding - normal not a problem, but he started yesterday, and he's got some stuck on his face - how long should I leave him to sort it out before I try and soak it off for him ? i'd rather leave him to do it - he freaks out if I go near him since his blind, but how long is too long, is there any chance of him being hurt ?

The sooner you get it off the better. Do it now, but be very careful, don't pull it off unless it comes off easily. If it doesn't come off easily soak it more. Be extremely careful around the eye also.
How did he come to be blind?

if its not off by tomorrow afternoon mate id give him a soak just to help him out abit, even a quick soak tonight wouldnt hurt before it dries out to much. i tend to help them if i know they arent going to get it off. i wouldnt say much chance of him getting hurt but if you leave it too long some problems may arise. even try increasing the humidity in the tank when he/she comes around that time to shed will help with the skin coming off a little easier
