hi just wondering how many times you feed you snake. I feed mine 2 times a week do you think thats to much?  |

Yes. I feed mine about once every fortnight, if that. How old is your snake? I'd feed young ones once a week.

well my snake is a coastal carpet python and i have had it since last easter.I feed here every time she has a crap. She seems to be a ok with it so i dont no. i do want here to get big quick thoe.

but she seems to look foward to every feedin time. and she seems to be fine with it so i dont think i will change.enyway my friend feeds his snake 2 times week so maby you should try to feed yours more. dont want mine to get hungry. your snake probably sits their with a hungry gut. poor thing all cold with no food in it's tummy

Tszue, I know you are young and probably mean the best by your python. But do you put your posts up to cause flame wars?????
I'm a novice in this game and have gathered as much info from this site and others as I can, but I can tell you twice a week is WAY too much. How often do you think snakes feed in the wild, I can safely say it wouldn't be as often as that.
Do you and snake a favour and back it off to at least once per week while it's a hatchie and then less as it becomes mature, or your snake will suffer.

mate i doubt your snakes going to get hungry after a week without food just ease it back to about 3 times a month.
