There's an expo coming up, and I probably will be buying a Childreni there, However I would like to take advantage of the low prices there and stock up on my mice.
How many you guys recommend, even if it is more than enough, to stock on for the next 8 months?

As many as your snakes can eat in that time.
Unless the rodents are vacuum sealed, it's not advisable to keep them in the freezer for more than 6 months. If they are vacuum sealed, they should last 12 months+.

Most of them here are vacuum sealed, I guess I should had mentioned it.
I never owned a Childreni before, so I have no idea how many pinkies, fuzzies, etc they need.

1 per week is a good starting point.
Edit: so one every 7-14 days is a good starting point.

So pinkies for the first 4 months, then fuzzies for 3 or 4 months after that, and then I am looking at either hopper or weaned for the rest of the year. Too bad rats are banned here.
I hope I am getting this right.
I just know that each snake develop at different speed. Like for example, Corn Snake owners advise some people to get a stage of mice in the freezer for every two months or so, then followed by rats.

Anyway, I will buy about 20 pinkies, and 20 fuzzies. Hopefully it should be enough until the spring expos, if not I just have to catch a bus to get some more later on. They charge too much for mice around here, and the shipping companies just plain suck.

no air=no oxidation which is what degrades tissue, also with no air no bacteria

No point buying a truckload if you have to throw the lot out by the time you get home.

I'd get like 10-15 pinkies then get 10-15 fuzzies and some hoppers.

Try and bust them up into meal sizes, while their frozen and then its easier to just pull one out to thaw
