ok ok ok i have an enclosure near anough to 1200 high by 500 x 500 wil be housing a single diamond, i have to electrify it (hears distant evil laugh muahahahaha), i can't fit a tube fluro so i was thinking of putting in a es fitting with one of those uv reptiglo thingys that herptrader advertises.
the enclosure will be in my lounge room it is a tv cabinet, i of course dont want a lot of night light, should i be putting in ceramics or ir globes, i do want to have the ability to look at the animal at night if i wish to without having to flood the hab with natural light (the fluro) or should i go 1 of each reason i am going 2 heat sources is for the backup idea i read somewhere on these forums.
also what kind of wattage will i need in any of these options, and where should the thermo be, and regarding TB's post about no thermos i am in melbourne and its damn cold i dont want the animal hybernating all the time, the house is kept at about 20-22c most of the time during winter is this to cold for a diamond to go with no heating just natural.
help me please the wonderful world of aps, my to be saviours...
ps. i am trying to keep cost of fittings down
hey and i aint no english teacher so forgive my grandma (hehe pun) just trying to have some fun on here and get some very important info

If you want to be able to view at night and keep the costs down, use the 25 or 40 watt party globes for night heating. They should provide enough light to see the animal without disturbing its day/night cycle.
