From what I have seen older snakes increase in values to some extent at the rate of food costs. Like an adult spotted for $250 from hatchies at $150 after having eaten several years of food.
Adult BHPs and Carpets and such are similar. I think most people who want a large placid animal go for olives anyhow.
I am yet to see much profit being made from reptiles unless the person is ahead of the curve with the high demand animals (albinos, GTP, RSP). I am inclined to think a job will net better returns in a shorter timeframe.

I don't know all that much about scrubbies except for the few i've assisted in reloacating, IMO you're never going to have anything close to a 100% success rate for makeing a scrubbie placid, not even 10% i'd say.
Just IMHO tho |

lol Rockman - I was being tactful !!!!
Didnt someone come up with the idea of breeding scrubbies to make boots and belts. lol
I always laugh at the image of the scrubby owner, garbage bin lids as shields, welding gloves and motorbike helmet - just for cage cleaning - lol
Definitely a specialty animal imo.

If you are gonna buy two of anything breed them and sell the hatchies, still not alot of money in it once all costs are added up. But alot more money than selling adult animals.
I think most breeders are pretty happy to break even when it comes to selling animals rather than profiting.

You'd better invest in some bandaids and betadine first | | | |
