As much as you want really, they vary in size too so 4 necks could be the same size a one big one. 20% of the snakes weight is plenty for a feed IMO(not that i acutally bother to weigh stuff myself).

I want to try chicken necks too. What about chicken drumsticks, I am curious as to why you need to take the skin off?

Probably most important for Black-heads and Womas, so relevant for you Ray.

I'd go about 350-400grams worth a week for a snake that size. 20% of it's body weight could be a bit too much if she is a bulky girl.

Has anyone else found that the 'result' of feeding day old chicks is a bit of a runny mess?

I try and get necks or drumsticks that are smaller than the rats I am already feeding the python. This way you can give the animal 2 or 3 which IMO seems to be a good amount. I only use chicken as a diet supplement to full rats or rabbits etc. Chicken, when it has the skin removed, is lean and low in fat and the necks and drumsticks have good size bones. Hope this helps.
