how to tell apart ?

hey gusy, i been looking thru galleries & iv come acorss some pics of jungles (Morelia Spilota cheynei) & costal carpets (Morelia Spilota Mcdowelli).

some of the Morelia Spilota Mcdowelli look Just like the Morelia Spilota cheynei ?

how do u tell them apart ?

lol wat if sumone sells a coastal as a jungle ? then ud be paying for a fake jungle

Jungles have a "skull" pattern on the top of there head. Once you see it, you will know what I mean. That is probably the easiest was to tell a Jungle from a Coastal.
Browns or Jungleinc may be able to give you a more detailed answer.

I have aways found break down of the various carpet "species" a bit of worry because for the most part it seems to be based patterns and colours. In other species including humans a destinction base on this kind of morphology would be described as different races.

IMHO carpet sub groups are probably best described by the locality of their ancestry. To a certain extent this already happens with terms such as "Proserpine", "Atherton" etc. in fairly common use.
