Hi guys,
This is my little guy I got off of a mate who was moving interstate. I'm unsure who he got him from but it was sold to him as a normal, but after looking at pics of both normals and hypo's, im starting to think that he could be a hypo. Not of the best quality, but a hypo none the less. The main reason I think this is because he lacks the black outline to his cream patterning that normals are suposed to have. Wat do u think? Is he a normal or hypo?
Cheers,
Chris

Hey mate,
That is indeed a hypo, but, i believe there are different category hypo's.
This will probably only end up with normal coloring but no black pigment, not as bright as some of the others.

Grades,..pfftttt. It is a matter of how much black there is, there is no specific definitave on grades. I would say grade 1 as there seems to be NO black. It is all up to the individual!!!!

No, i believe its graded on the color intensity eg a fluro orange hypo bredli would be grade one were as this snake would be grade 3.. (depending on how many grade's there are)

Well there are 12 grades at school, where do we stop???!!!! This is bull!!!!!! This bredli has NO black pigment,...... hence it is a grade 1, grade 2 has some black, grade 3 is a normal. Take it or leave it, but you can't put soooo many classes on them!!!!!!!

Mr Spike, cheers 4 da link, i was lookin at it earlier 2day. All ive ever seen is grade 1, grade 2 and normal. I know he's certainly not like boa's, thats y i think hes a grade 2. I havent been able to find a thread relating to how hypos are graded.

Cheers adam, im definately very pleased with him. I'm not gonna get my hopes up with sayin he's a grade 1 yet. I'll wait for a few more opinions before i make a "conclusion". Cheers 4 da help though, definately appreciated.

I don't know much about the "grades" but there is definately a lack of black in that little guy!
Beautiful snake - well done!
