Actually that snake would be referred to ask a hypo as it definitely has a reduced amount of melanin, the problem is that different people have a different definition of the word. It isn't a 'classic' hypo carpet though.

I would say it looks a lot like some "hypo's" that I have seen. Of course some are better than others. Reduced black, light colouring and lightish/silver eyes, don't quote me, but I would say yes. |

100% hypo, have a good look at the amount of black, and look at the size, and then remember hypo means "reduced black" but saying that, it isn't the hypo's that some members breed, but all hypos can't look the same, just like the bredli's, people are now grading them,
this male is hypo and was bought from jungle-freak who got him from mark simms,
female bought from junglejay, also a hypo and has produced hypo hatchlings,
this is one of my hatchlings from my male

every pic here is just a variation of a STANDARD coastal carpet. they are probably the most variable snake in the world in terms of pattern and colour. None, in my opinion, is worth more than the other. People started selling those light coloured babies as 'hypos' a few years back to try and cash in on the emerging morph frenzy but inactual fact every single one is just a standard coastal carpet.
