I guess you would have to assume that the original hypos came from normals so I guess they could, but I reckon the chances are very slim.

i am just about to get a pair and im thinking that i should wait and get a pair of hypo's instead i really like the colours in the hypo's just spoke to someone the other day that said ordinary bredli can have hypo hachies but i was thinking it was like albino's and they had to have the hypo trait to then pass on to the hatchies???
please help

Hypos are not like albinos, where albino x albino = 100% albino babies. It's more like yellow & black coastal x yellow & black coastal = quite a few yellow & black babies, some brown & grey, a few green, brown and cream etc etc. Nothing is guaranteed, but two hypos will probably produce a number of hypo offspring, just as two similarly coloured Coastals will probably produce a number of similarly coloured babies. But two similarly coloured Coastals can also produce completely different coloured babies. Same goes for standard bredli, they can produce hypo offspring, but it is nowhere near as likely to occur as it would with hypo x hypo. Hope that makes some sense.

At 6 months:
At 14 months:
The photos in the other thread are 2.5 years, she looks a little lighter in the recent photos because of the flash.
