Ive just sent the forms with payment into the NSW NPWS and i was just wondering what the turnaround time most people who have done the same thing have found with the parkies??
Is it possible to just tell them the forms are in transit, and have them issue the wildlife transport permit number??

They took bloody ages with mine, after about a week I called and they gave me the number on the phone, and said I should have gotten it already.
I don't think they'll give you the number until it's processed, but I'd call after three days or so, I reckon you could get it then.

yeah I call them 3 days after sending the application and they tell me the number. The licence has always turned up 7 days after sending it (5 times).
