antaresia..... only speaking from my own exp. ive never kept and bredlis or MDs or any of the othe carpets that some people will say.... ive got 3 childrens, 1 spotted and a jungle....
my jungle was snappy at first but its fine now but my spotted has always been the most placid thing ever. the childrens were flightly for about a week but are also very placid..... overall id say spotted has the best temp. closely followed by childrenis......
just my limited exp...... read up on some other threads.... theres so many about snake temperaments.,...

It is completely up to the individual snake, all species have some nice mellow ones, and also can have agro's as well. I have had very mellow carpets, and ones that bite, Childrens probably spotteds are the most mellow that I know of, I have had some very agro stimi's before though. Bredli's not too bad, but I would have to agree with dickyknee, I think that diamonds in general are very good, docile, freindly etc.

My two diamonds are the most placid snakes I have and have only been tagged by my female (in my avatar) once when she was very hungry and bit me to let me know she was not happy with me.
My BHP's are both very placid and have never bitten.
My spotted on the other hand always strikes about three times when I open her enclosure without fail.
I have had spotteds that are very placid, but the one I have now thinks she is an anaconda or something.......
Every snake has it's own temperemant and IMO will show that as a hatchie......

Ha ha.....that's so cute!!
I have a REALLY placid little spotted. I couldn't ask for a better snake. He eats beautifully, sheds perfectly and is happy to be handled by any of us.
