My male water python and female maccie would be on a par as being the best as far as handling at anytime in or out of the enclosure.

Bandy Bandys, Blind Snakes, most of the Furinas, etc etc.
Of the snakes commonly kept, Copperheads, Red-bellied Blacks, Death Adders (with some exceptions). If by "Good temperament" you just mean "doesn't bite", Common Treesnakes and Keelbacks are up there.
I wouldn't put any pythons in the top 20 'non bitey' snakes of Australia.

oh yeh, you have the nicest waters in the world!!! | It's not that long ago that I was first bitten by a Common Treesnake... I was so amused at how feeble their bite is
I had some friends visit today, showed them a Water Python, had to repeatedly poke it in the face to convince their kid it wouldn't bite

I think all of my snakes have bitten me at one time or another so it comes down to which one bit me the nicest... ummmm... I guess it will have to be the coastal, he bit me so sweetly, he did it slowly and sharply because I wasn't paying him any attention. Poor boy...
