Well if anyone wants a true pure intergrade which are lovely looking pythons, have a look around and you should find some. Many people don't like them for their own reasons but i reckon they are a spectacular looking pyhton within their own range!!!!

There are some very nice intergrades around. The problem lies with people who think that breeding a carpet python with a diamond will produce intergrades. These offspring are hybrids and not true intergrades. Sadly some people still try to sell them as intergrades, some are ignorant, some are just plain lying.
If I was to ever buy an intergrade, I would want to see both of the parents first.

If I was gonna buy an intergrade, I'd buy one from Greg Hollis.

Intergrades

Another never ending story on this site scorpio. When trying to understand intergrades and hybrids scorpio look at in perspective, hybrids are humanly selected animals and intergrades are naturally selected. Most discussion on this site takes place in regards to spilota mostly refering to diamond or carpet patterned spilota. Its like having 2 pattern forms of zebras, one in the north say and one in the south, this takes place because of different enviromental circumstances each must contend with thus influensing colour, pattern, behaviour etc the ones in the middle will be an intermediate because they are more suited to there enviroment than those of the north or south. So they are different enviromentally adapted individuals of the ONE species.Problems occur when there divided into subspecies.(When you divide ONE you get fractions).
