now my question is this i am wanting to put a male and a female in the same enclosure a 4ft X 2ft X 2ft now im wondering if this is a good idea or should i keep them seperate untill they get abit bigger and not so bitey
they all in seperate containers atm btw

Wouldn't consider a 4x2x2 until they were at least 2 years old. M&F should be OK together, but feed separately, and watch them closely when you put them back together.

I ask this because I found that jungle hatchies fed better when pirched above their prey. I therefore used 9 litre upright tubs from the Reject Shop ($4ea from memory) and screwed a branch from one end to the other on a slight incline. This then gave them a) climbing room and b) a pirch to prey off.
I found their eating habits it increase and seemed to be more active.
I would house them individually in these tubs. I wouldn't even consider putting them in a 4x2x2 until they were approx 3 - 4 ft.
Have you thought of dividing the enclosure into 2 seperate 2x2x2 enclosures?
Food for thought.

I recently made an enclosure 600x600x600mm for someone which would IMO be perfect for hatchlings. I'll be making some that size for myself when I get more hatchlings. Good luck, wish I had 6 more jungles.
