I went and got my first snake this morning. I was planning on getting a Spotted python but they were being really agressive and kept striking out, so I decided on a lovely Childrens python. I was going to call it Monty but for some reason the name Kiandra kept coming to mind so I've decided to call it that. It's a more feminine name and seeing as it's got such a lovely nature, I figured it has to be female.
The first time I had to pick her up I was a little nervous but now I feel like a pro. She hasn't once tried to strike out at me and she's just happy to curl around my hand and I love the way she curls her tail around my thumb. I'm so glad I got her...now I wonder what I can get next..lol |

Gurds....she was $250 which I thought was really reasonable as I had seen younger hatchlings going for $290 and $400. I bought her from a guy that lives near me who's been breeding snakes for years.
