Introducing my mac

Hi everyone,

I posted here in January, in the run-up to my first snake coming home. What was originally misidentified as a Stimson's python turned out to be a spotted python, but I can't say I'm worried about that, because she's just lovely.

I say "she" on the assumption that my snake is female, though I have no idea. I wouldn't have her probed unless I were going to breed her. Until I find out otherwise, her name is Cassipeia (Cassie for short).

She's 19 weeks old now, and she's an absolute darling. She has a sound temper, doesn't mind being handled, hasn't bitten me, has gobbled up every mouse I've offered her, and has just had her second shed. I haven't measured Cassie, but she looks to be around 30-40cm long.

Being a typical proud "parent", I'm attaching a pic. It was taken two months ago.

Time permitting, I hope to be around on the forums more often. Nic

Thanks everyone! I just realised I managed to misspell Cassie's name - it's meant to read "Cassiopeia."

Can't type today, have a case of the dumb...
