Yeah, I have a heat pad that has a hide rock over it, it's around 38 inside of it. They'll go in for half an hour/an hour and then sleep on top of it. Ever been up north? It's 28 degrees in the middle of winter up there...

Yes sxereturn. I have one adult who eat only live. I starved him for 5 months to change his habit, and on the end he won. I am feeding him live. He do have problem with flag. parasites a lot becaose of that, but I have no choice in that case.

Nome, i have never seen a hatchling scrub, but have read they are 75cm SVL at hatchling, a weaner mouse may be too small for it to bother with, maybe try an adult mouse

Yes, i know, but have been rather desperate as he wouldn't take large, so I thought I would try small, as he was attacking it, and it was too much hassle for him to spit it out, so he would swallow it. He was spitting out anything larger.

Get a live, small adult mouse, and chuck it in tonight at around 8.30-9pm. Cover his tank with a towel, and very quietly check every 10-15 minutes. Make sure the temps are high...

LOL, yes already tried that. At that time, he liked to kill, and I covered him after he killed it, but when I would check the next day the dead mouse was still there, this was repeated many times until I got sick of wasting mice. I'm hoping it's the shed that has been the problem. HE has been unusually cuddly and docile of late.

Yep, sounds like the problem.

He was always reluctant to eat when coming up for a shed with me (well, most snakes are actually.)
