is it normal

i was wondering is it normal for my coastal to be a lot less active around this time of the year. hes still a yearling about 3 months old

Yes, snakes' activity decreases as the temperature drops, and they'll enter partial hibernation in winter.

My five month-old spotty hasn't been as active as usual since autumn started.

tottally normal. my 2 month old coastals have both started to slow down, as with the rest of my snakes. none hav started hibernation as yet though.

He may slow down a little but I'd still keep his heat on 24 hours with a cool spot in the cage also. He is actually classed as a hatchie or juvie at 3 months, he'll be a yearling when he is around 1 year old.

One of my Coastals has gone off her food and probably won't eat again until the weather heats up, even though the heat is still on. She did this last year as well. At the same time my other Coastal just keeps on eating year round. Every snake will be a little bit different.
