Given that many of us are trying to win the albino - would it be safe to keep one at home? If so, would you have to keep it hidden and never show anyone except your best friends? Would you have to install a security system? I don't anticipate having this problem, but am curious.

I would be selective about who I told or showed the animal to and as Vixen said, a security system would never go astray.
I'd advise doing what many breeders now do, anyway, and that's not to invite people buying to your house, but to instead go to "neutral ground." Safer for all parties that way.
Of course that's useless if you actually provide your residential address on any documentation (Movement Advice etc). |

|  | Geek Subscriber | | | | Some people don't write anything at all on the movement advice in the address field. Whether that's strictly legal or not, I don't know, so I'm not recommending anything, only stating an observation.
I personally don't have enough of a collection to be concerned about it, so everyone I deal with gets mine  |
