| | | Hey guys and girls,
Just wanted to as if its the norm for a jungle to grow to 7 foot my monty shed last night and i took a tape to his skin he measured in at 2.4m i have read on here that they are only meant to get around the 1.7m mark, think i might have a freak. |

Cheers,
Ishka

Take a string and run it along your python and then measure the string - you cannot get an accurate measurement from the shed skin. |

Snake skins normally stretch about 30% (But some can be longer or shorter). Often people measure the shed skin and think pythons are a lot bigger than they really are. Good example is the reports of mega giant green anaconda. If you want to know how long your snake is – take a string and run it down the snake’s back and measure the string. |
